Food Defense Workshop
The one-day intensive Food Defense Workshop aims to equip participants with the essential knowledge and skills needed to protect their food operations from intentional adulteration and contamination.
Participants will learn about potential threats to food integrity, including both internal and external threats, and the types of harm these can cause, ranging from public health crises to economic damage. Participants will be introduced to the FDA's Food Defense Plan Builder.
Participants will work on creating a mock food defense plan, which includes identifying potential vulnerabilities, implementing mitigation strategies, and planning for incident response.
This workshop is suitable for food safety managers, quality assurance officers, production managers, and all professionals involved in ensuring the integrity of food processes.
